Thanks Ed.

Yea just short of 6K Euro but i can dream..Deck to die for tho, uses Transrotors Magnetic drive system (TMD) same as all the big Transrotors use with exception to the big daddy's of course 'Quintessence', Gravita' & Artus' which use a 3 Motor system (3M)

Hi Rare Bird, now there`s an album i havn`t heard in a very long time.

A progressive rock guy then ?

Do you reckon the old Thruno "Event horizon" deserves to be included in this topic ? :)

Its in purple mode for this pic :)

Hi John
Yeh looks cool that.

Progs the word.RARE BIRD debut & the 2nd ''AS YOUR MIND FLIES BY' are the best they ever did, the band were a bad after these two albums...the brains Graham Field left after these albums you see to form the short lived band FIELDS with KING CRIMSON 'LIZARD' drummer Andy Mc Culloch & unknown Alan Barry, but FIELDS were no match for Grahams earlier work.

Its Fleetwood Mac, a montage of sigs, ltd ed CD and pic.

The birthday pres from mrs thru that fell down on top of my arm destroying a brand new goldring eroica.
It was meant to be a surprise, it was that all right, the thing almost exited thru a closed window.

She hung it up with a solitary panel pin. :(

Reminds me of the film "contact" where jodie foster gets in a massive gyroscope thing and gets away for a while.

A time machine, it looks very scientific, i like the gantry type suspension, all it needs is some flying buttresses.

I bet its Italian :)

It looks to me like someone with a workshop, a load of acrylic / ally offcuts, too much time on his hands and a very vivid imagination created that thing.
I cant make out what most of its about.!!

I really hated that clamp, i regreted putting the ball in it, but that was to hide the hole that got there there during an attempt at my first screw down collet clamp.
If you ever get sick of the ball being there send it back and i will put in a brass insert that you wont even know is there or a stainless "plug".
I had been concerned about a reaction resulting in slight rust apperaing were the ball enters the brass ?

Hi WeeCrackPot

No probs. The photo is on the previous page. You are absolutely right in that there are now lots of TT's from Germany getting across the channel, though the Germans always have been into their TT's and a bit stereo typical but the engineering standards all seem pretty good and they all look great to, well most of them do anyway.

I took a bit of a gamble on this one, as I bought it without hearing it at home, but it has certainly massively impressed me and is here to stay. I have had a couple of good TT's including a Nottingham Dais with a Graham Phantom and a Redpoint Model A with a Helius Omega. But this current combination with the Audiocraft AC3000 tonearm is all round better and more satisfying than the other two TT's. Though all very subjective opinions I must say.

Though I am not really into bakeoff's (strange term that). If anyone is in the area and wishes to drop by for an evening or whatever you are more than welcome.
