Anyone had any experience of this cheap DAC...I'm wanting something like this to use with Laptop as i'm wanting to build a PC based system as hi-fi hold no intrest for me any longer, i intend shelving the CD player for a cheap but good FLAC front end...Was wondering if the 16 bit would loose much over 24bit also..I'm not wanting this as a CD upgrade tho.

No way will i rely on Computer electronics, only using the Laptop as a library controller.all tracks will be on outboard hard drive.
