Thanks to j7 i now have a cardas wired tonearm with substantial earthing and ext leads. very fast turnaround time and great communications. probably the best service i've had since i got sucked into hifi.
The improvement over the stock leads is incredible and well worth doing.

original wiring. ext leads snipped for transit.

arm assy reintroduced. sub base removed to accept new earth lead

blanking plate replaced. technics ext lead clamp removed to prevent damage to leads.

customer had the kab pcb (just a binding post) but i prefer the origonal technics pcb...its well made and offers a space to grip the external wires tightly....this is a much more durable solution
