If ever there was a life that reached highs and lows in equal measure then his was one. Severely paralysed from the chest down as a result of alleged mechanical or electrical failure in his Rolls Royce (no doubt vigorously contested by Rolls Royce). No shortage of controversy surrounding his association with a transexual which is even more significant given his bible belt background, does his rehab, relaunches his career then gets struck down by colon cancer. At least he can claim to have led a very eventful life. R.I.P.
