Oh Shit!
Bought an LP some time back when my deck was out of action, as it was pretty rare at at good price. Today i came to play it & it's warped.Lucky enough i use a unipivot that rides warpes like a dream but i must get rid of the warp! The worse bit is that it's warped on the edge of the record not across the lot.
Any ideas?
I had though of placing it between to pieces of heavy toughen glass & place it in the oven for a short period...:?

I got that problem too, causes a bit of cone flap, but the PU7 rides it like a dream, there is a propriety solution, but it's not cheap, me i'd put up with the warp rather than risk damge

NO
You will damage it further.
Record it to tape and listen to that.
Place record and sleeve between lots of other records for about 6 months, that may help a bit.

The Clearaudio Vinyl Doctor, around £1300 IIRC, can't find it in my price list, other alternatives are an outer ring clamp, but these are fussy about what TT's they work with and cost between £500-750

To stand within the Pleasure Dome
Decreed by Kubla Khan
To taste anew the fruits of life
The last immortal man
To find the sacred river Alph
To walk the caves of ice
Oh, I will dine on honeydew
And drink the milk of Paradise
