Welcome to The Crossover Network, or T-X-N for short.

TXN is primarily a music based forum for those who love music and Hi-Fi.
The purpose of TXN is to allow music and Hi-Fi lovers to share discussions about music and Hi-Fi. We want to offer an alternative forum for lovers of music and Hi-Fi which is free from the squabbles and petty arguments that ruin so many promising discussions. This is not a place to continue arguments from elsewhere.

We will try to have as few rules as possible.

1. No Defamitory, Racist, Homophobic or potentially libellous remarks, comments about people, products etc. If you dislike something its ok to say you dislike it and give an opinion why.
We want to avoid people getting into the rut of dismissing equipment as 'Crap' because that helps nobody. You never know who's reading. Also disagreements of the sort which descend into name calling or insults will not be permitted. Everyone is entitled to their opinion without being open to ridicule. Persistant offenders who disrupt the harmony in this regard may be banned.

2. No Porn. it's a condition of our terms with the ISP. Repeat offenders may have their posting rights removed.

3. If you have had a run in with an other member on another forum, do not continue it here. Persistant offenders may be banned.

4. Potentially Non-Work-Safe Material - The 'DangerZone' is the only place where this is permitted, within the scope of point 2 above. Please Label any links you may think are potentially non-work safe. Please note that the Dangerzone is only accessible by logged in registered members. it is invisible to guests.

5. The admin team reserve the right to lock and/or delete any thread which is deemed to be likely to cause offence. without warning. aditionally threads may be locked without notice while under discussion by the admin team. The admin's decision is final in these matters.

6. Classifieds. Adverts placed here are at your own risk. in order to minimise the potential for scammers, only logged in registered members can view these threads.

7. Dealers.
a) Dealers are welcome to post on the forums, with the exception of the Hifi Classifieds. However, if a dealer wishes to sell their privately owned second-hand equipment then this will be permitted on an individual basis. However, we reserve the right to withdraw this privilige if it is abused.
b) Dealers are welcome to post comments about equipment they stock or have heard. We don't want negativity about products that competitors stock, as this could be seen to be nothing more than sour grapes, and in any case may damage dealers' crediblilty.

8. PMs. We respect your privacy, and will never read your Private Messages unless there is a legal obligation for us to do so. we hope never to have to do this.
If you feel you are being harrassed by another member via PM, or feel that a dealer is using PMs inappropriately - such as unsolicited attempts to sell you goods, please let the Admin know, by sending a message to either BigBrother or BBLB
