I've never owned a Graham Slee but I think the Prof rates them. Bear in mind this is an entry level stage but still should be an improvement on most in-built boards.

What Rotel phonostage are we talking about??
I once compared a Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 to a modified Rotel 970 phonostage and they were pretty close soundwise , the Slee was a small plastic box approv 5" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and looked pretty shite compared to a full size phonostage , but for the money the Graham Slee's punch well above their weight. I later bought a 2nd hand Graham Slee Era Gold which I'm really happy with.

Modified Rotel , the guy who done these mods , Sid & Coke , is a top bloke and an Aircraft Engineer so not too bad with his hands.

What sort of money would I need to spend to improve on the phono stage of the Copland CSA14? any ideas.
I have a Rock and I'm not afraid to use it.

Nah, it would look better on my Linn.

Nice one Scott, very nice one. Do you want me to move your pic post to the right thread, the cartridge gallery? Or you could post it up there as well after you get your chin back.

Nice one Scott. Bet it sounds great on the Clearaudio / PU7. (Infact i have a pretty good idea of how it would sound .)

    Enjoy m8.
