How both these drivers survived these crashes is a miracle.

Skip forward to 2 mins 30 secs for the super slow mo. The press and mashalls were extremely lucky but watch the female photographer at the bottom of the picture with the blue vest on. How close was that wheel from hitting her and she was totally unaware. Scary stuff. It took over an hour for the track fitters to repair the Armco. Once the race got underway again it was funny to see no photographers sitting at the same corner.

Rockenfeller's crash looks worse, there's not much left of the Audi, certainly no wheels left on the machine, gear box and engine landed in the next postcode. Hard to tell its a car to be honest. Ironically the Ferrari drives on after contributing to another high differential speed accident.

Typical Audi driver, drives like a twat and gets away with it.

    haha....yes.

Rockenfeller is ok thankfully. The footage of the crash is very poor but skip to 5 minutes in and that piece of smoking unrecognisable crap in front of the ambulance was a car!

    after...

Unbelievable Rockenfeller's got out of that unharmed. Makes McNish's crash look like a carpark shunt.

Amazing but you can see the driver's cockpit is still intact.

    Anyone watching this?
Anthony Davidson has just flipped and totalled his Toyota LM P1 car after being clipped passing a slower LM GTE Am Ferrari donk.
    Thankfully he's reported as uninjured.

saw the replays, was a cracker, he's broken a couple of vertebrae but should make a good recovery, lucky lucky boy, if his car hadn't become airborne(which clowed it down) it could have been much worse, thats a fast part of the track.

At first I thought the Ferrari driver was going to come off worse. He was a little shaken, apart from that he was fine.
Doubt we'll see Davidson on Sky's coverage of the GP this weekend.
