Seconded on the Ittok. It's just got a rightness about it. Helius Omega looks terrible!

Second ESK's choice, the DP6 is even better in the fresh, the HR100s is equally beautiful.

yep thats my thoughts, easily beaten sonically, but just right fit for purpose looks IMHO.

I still drool over the SME V. It just looks engineered.

Don't know about pretty, but the SME V does it for me. In my limited experience it's the only arm that sounds how it looks.

I really like the utilitarian, form follows function, look of this arm. I'm thinking of getting one actually.

Yes, it's available as a kit that you build up around the RB250 tube. It looks very well thought out although I am a little intrigued by the loading of the lateral bearings, or rather the lack thereof.

So, tell me more? :0) How would you describe the sound? How does it compare to other arms you've used? I'm very interested in it but I'm afraid of buying one blind and finding that it's not my kind of thing.

I like the presentation, it's a strong performer. It's not in your face but it's all there.

I had an AO'd Ittok when I bought the Audiomods. I loved the look and feel of the Ittok but I prefered the sound of the Audiomods so I eventually sold the Ittok.

I too had an Ittok. I'd like to hear a more detailed comparison if it's not too much trouble? In what way is the Audiomod arm better? Is it in any way worse?

The Ittok could sound a bit ragged sometimes, something I never found with the Audiomod Rega.

I had a couple of modded Regas in the early days and I could never get on with them. I found them bland and sterile even. The Audio mods on the other hand has a bit of warmth about it which I find enjoyable.

I'm no golden ears mind, but I do know what I like, though my idea of good sound may not be the same as yours.
