    They're a bit Heath Robinson to me, like the various parts were designed by different people and assembled together.

    I tend to agree, I'd take and SME 309/IV/V on looks over that adjustability.

    I reckon this is. Love at first sight, had to own one. A delicate engineering marvel. Sounds great with a J7 rewire and an Ortofon MC10 Super. I was going to post pics of mine, but foiled by the uploaded-elsewhere-already requirements. So these will do. Better camera work than mine anyway.

    Just shows you .. there are so many favourites and we haven't even seen the good old Zeta or Acos Lustre etc. mentioned yet. Then there are Audio Oregami's wonderful creations .. then of course there are the downright uggly that you don't care cos they sound great (e.g. Mission 774) ... as they say one man's meat is another man's poison
    A good earwash may be the cheapest and best upgrade to your system.

    the original fluid arm by Trancsriptors was always pretty aesthetic but the later vestigial was ugly(was that a Michell design or a Trasncriptors?)in my opinion
