Hehe, itīs like a womens tea party.

Lignum vitae is a fascinating wood. The hardest in the world, and self lubricating. It was used in propeller bearings in ships a long time ago.
The bearing is made by a guy called Jeremy. He has a thread at lencoheaven.net

Roksoff, the SMT room acoustics are very well regarded. They have some newly designed room diffusors in acrylic. Theyīre not mentioned on the website yet. Dimension is 60cm x 120cm x 15cm, brodband diffusion from 250hz up.

Same diffusor, but made of wood

I want three in acrylic behind the sofa and four in wood finish on the wall behind the speakers, and golden horns in the roof. But, theyīre not inexpensive
Prices arenīt official yet but Iīve heard that the price for one Wing in acrylic is 500 pounds and around 350 for the wood version.

LOL, they no workie for me either and my scones are going stale waiting.

Not sure about paying that much for room treatments Kjoe, was hoping to get the whole room done for less than 300.

I clicked Edit Post on kj's post and the pics were there, so when I cancelled that (there's no code there to edit) his pics appeared. Obviously mere mortals can't do this (i.e. non-mods and admin).

Hereīs a pic to illustrate the size of the bearing. The wood surrounding the well is cocobolo, for itīs boogie characteristics

Itīs mounted to the plinth with a clamp
