I actually bit the bullet and opened my vinyl copy of 'Before the dawn' last night (forgot I had it!) Brought me right back to the gig...so far so good.

It does say in the notes that no overdubs or re-recordings were added. Only a few effects for atmosphere.

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon

Can't get enough of these guys. Edinburgh based 3-piece Miracle Glass Company, debut album MGC1 (Produced by Owen Morris) on Blue Vinyl too. This single is lifted from the album and was animated by Scott Morriss, better known as the bass player for seminal 90's britpop band The Bluetones.
Well worth 3 minutes of your time!

Take it that you were at the MGC gig then :-)
It is a very good album.
I haven't heard the Medicine Men album yet but I am sure I will get it soon - album launch is soon I think.
I thought the other band on that night Filth Spector were also very good also.
I think MSC are at in Tuts in June. Their album is available in Love Music in Glasgow (Back of Queen Street station)

I'm really liking this album.....mind you side D is a little noisy and a few crazy daft marks on it so it could yet go back.

    Odessey and Oracle the Zombies

Saw then live at the Stables on Sunday - Bluntstone's voice is still amazing and Rod Argent is a superb keyboard player - the band were in fine fettle if you can get to see them live do it you will not be disappointed.

Quoted by Weller, Dave Grohl and others as being hugely influential and the most amusing part of the concert was the announcement they were going to do a cover of a Tom Petty cover of a Zombies original ....
