    Thanks for the link Steve, will check it out for availability and Stereo looks like my kind of haunt, once went to see a gig at the Brel bar just off Ashton lane where the conservatory sat about 50 people and the 3 musicians sat about 5 feet in front of the rows of seats, like intimate gigs.

    I doubt I'll be able to make it unless I can co ordinate travel and what would seem to be limited tickets. That and the memory of my last time in Glasgow lol. I was hustled by the most threatening ten year old I've ever met.......he took my whisky! Whisky or death were his words

    If I were a religious person I would choose to worship Manuel as my god. Simple as that.

    I saw Ashra many moons ago at UK electronica in Sheffield... think it was '84, but it could've been '83. I was only a young lad. T'was brilliant.

    I just love everything he did throughout the 70's and early 80's, although I've no time for anything he did post '84.

    I think you can tell already... imho the electronica golden years were from the late 70's to the early 80's - a period of truly amazing music!
