I don't get why they unveiled it up a hill in the snow. Why not on a track with the doctor doing a huge mono.

What's wrong with proper clocks instead of all this LCD shite and what's with the carbon fibre crap?

Chops . are you on a wind up here??
Digital = lighter , Carbon fibre = lighter , less weight = faster.
85% of the chassis , wheels and brake discs (carbon/ceramic)and if you look close enough the swingarm is carbon fibre . it's all technology. Steel frames and tanks are antiques nowadays.

It's a fuckin RACE BIKE , not some piece of shit Milwawkee iron and chrome that can't go round a fckin corner.

Rossi is struggling with fitness after shoulder op , so I reckon Ducati didn't wanna release the bikes at a track as "The Doctor" is far from 100% fit and riding the bike in front of the worlds media could have been a bit embarrising.

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon

Ha ha. You know the Italians are crap at electrics lol so stick with mechanical clocks. I'll bet it won't be long before it packs in. Carbon fibre's for pussies mate, bling for turntables and stuff doesn't belong on a man's bike

I've got some photos of my mate's Guzzi and some of his other Italian bikes so I'll stick 'em on later ok.

"not some piece of shit Milwawkee iron and chrome that can't go round a fckin corner."

now that's not nice, horses for courses and sittin back on a long set of forks and apehangers,
always had more appeal than clip ons and rearsets with me vunerable bits going to get mangled
if I made a 'cock up'.
Triumphs, Beezas and Squariels were way cool and I reckon a decent Goldstar is still way cooler
and a better investment than any Ducati,, know a guy that has about twenty of them all mint,
now that's what you call a pension fund:-)
Cool as Rossi is on the track, Dennis Hopper rules on the road:-)

By the time Acrington Stanley here, has repaired his 'Bonnie', greased his nipples, and primed the fuel pump, then repaired it again, primed the pump, kick it over for 10 minutes, flooded it, dine it all again, the race would have moved on to the next venue, aye good ole British know how.

Chops it's a race bike, not a replica.

I'm not a big fan of unfaired bikes (except Supermoto's) but my comment re Milwaukee Iron still stands.
Harley Davidson riders are a clique.
Years back we used to go to "The Haws" pub in South Queensferry on a Sunday/Wednesday night , just for a half pint and a chinwag with other bikers of various machinery , was quite a popular meet with an average of 60 or so like minded bikers.
Further along the road were the "Harley" dudes , and out of the 20/30 or so frilly jacketed/Iron Cross mirror peeps you would be lucky if 5 of them acknowledged (sp) any other biker whether it be old skool Brit classics , Honda Goldwing , Italian exotica , Streetfighters/Trikes or Jap muscle/plastic fantastic.
Most people I know that ride bikes wave/nod or flash ANY other two wheels on the road , even young un's on their Scooters and Mopeds , where as Harley riders look at you down their nose , so I dinnae have the time for them.

Anyway here's a nice wee video of Triumph Thruxton and the all new Norton Commando cafe racers . I'd have that Norton in a minute but as it's pretty trick and costs around 14K , I'll wait on a 2nd hand one.

    Triumph and Norton Cafe Racers

btw if you listen close the temperature is -7 degrees so no knee down heroics.
