    Default R.I.P. Marc Simoncelli

A racer's racer if ever there was one.

    Sorry to see you go.

    Just saw the news.
Donno what to say. So much promise.
To me he was Rossi's prodigy, the man to watch after Rossi hung up his helmet and the only exciting rider worth watching.
Moto GP grids will never be the same again without No.58.
It appears Rossi and Edwards were also involved.

Such a shame for all involved, his family and friends. He'll be sadly missed for a long long time.

    RIP Marco.

Totaly gutted. You pretty much said everything i was going to post Scott.
Motogp needed him and boy are they going to miss him.

A racer , pure and simple. And a bloody good one.

    Rest easy Marco.

Yep, still hard to believe really.
Was really happy when he got his first podiumed riding with the big boys, think it was Bruno. It just looked so right to have him standing on one of the podium steps.

Im in a fucking daze here Scott to be honest. Ok its part and parcel of one of the most, if not the most, dangerous sports out there. But tis still a bitter pill to swallow innit.

BBC SPORT news (online) have the ins and outs. Motogp is still a little vague. Better you trawl and read if yer want to cos i honestly find it too upsetting to stick it up fer all to read.

Suspected Simo had died when I saw the footage live this morning, BBC where very careful to only show the replay from certain angles, but clearly people at the track had access to more footage than we were being shown, but you could here a unanimous " Ough" at the point of impact from riders and mechanics in the pits when they were seeing footage we were not allowed to see

A very sad loss, and a guy who will be much missed by the fans of the sport.

    RIP Simo

    RIP Marco#58.

A future World Champion and a sad loss to the sport , as he was the only one on the grid worth watching lately.
Can't see Edwards or Rossi continuing after this.

    I'm gutted.

    Incredibly dangerous sport. RIP
Do to others as you would have them do to you. (Luke 6:31)

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (Matthew 4:17)
