Default AR EB101 turntable refurb...the beginning.

It all started as a 'i'll just give it a dusting and lube the spindle' job but has grown somewhat!

    Jobs to do:-

    1. Glue the rubber feet supports back in,
    2. Fit new SS spring screws and trim to length,
    3. New motor (?vac), rewire for external PSU,
    4. Fit RCA sockets to the rear,
    5. New spindle bearing, 7/32",
    6. Re-wire the arm.

Biggest issue is that one of the spring screws does not match up to the hole in the chassis and the chassis is not flat!

Any suggestion for points 4-6, all advice welcomed.

New balls fitted, must remember to fill the bearing channel with oil.

RCA sockets nearly done...minor hiccup as the red one is rusty so i'm after a replacemnt from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1409100117...84.m1439.l2649

    ...not a happy bunny.

Arm will be going away for a rewire by the man 'j7'.

    So, getting there slowly.

Pictures to come at the weekend.
