So were do we stand on music DVD's (the kind with pictures that is)?

Just got a shipping notification from the US that my copy of Tabla Beat Science - Talamanam Sound Clash: Further Adventures in Hypercussion, is on its way so will look forward to listening this on the big screen. Oh for that heady mix of mixture of Hindustani music, Asian Underground, Ambient, Drum & Bass and Electronica (with a hint of Jazz) and hopefully some DJ sssscra-sssscrat-ching-ing if DJ Disk is in the line up.

    Hey Snaps,how are ya?

    Just bought (on vinyl):

    Doolittle Pixies (Self-titled).

Hot Club De Paris - Drop It 'Til It Pops.

Get Cape. Wear cape. Fly - The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager.

    All kick ass

The latter is described by NME as:

"The gall of The clash and the righteous acoustic punk of Billy Bragg, delivered by a young man armed with an acoustic guitar, a beat-spewing laptop, and a bellyful of fire"

Seems spot on from what I can hear

    Marco.

Got these recently and forgot to mention them:

Luv Machine - Turns You On.

    Soul Finger - Bar Kays.

    PG Six - Slightly Sorry.

    Arbouretum - Rites Of Uncovering.

The first two are classic60s Soul/Funk, and the others are kind of floaty acoustic hippy shit with nicely melodic vocals

    Ah, will do.

Btw, if you like that Celtic stuff, Linn records do a lot of it (on CD) from their website, and you can listen before you buy

    You probably knew that, though!

Ah Linn records, not into linn kit much apart from the brik speakers but Linn records are amazing, recently got a pristine copy of The blue niles`s a walk across the rooftops, it has to be the best recorded bit of vinyl i have, was literally gobsmacked.
