I'm in a lot of pain right now chaps and I'm taking that many pain killers that I'm beginning to lose the plot. As a consequence I'm also having to take laxatives and eat lots of prunes. The next step is to wait until I've had the spinal decompression op and then hopefully I'll feel well enough to take some legal advise. I could put in for disability now I suppose as the specialist said the nerve damage is permanent but I'm not in any state for a fight atm.
I'm pretty sure GPs get some financial reward for sending his patients on for further care Gary. They get fifty quid now for every dementia case they refer. I wonder how many people will be wrongly diagnosed?

Well chaps I'm a happy man. I didn't want to say anything yesterday because I wasn't sure what was going on but when I woke up yesterday this pain that's crippled me for weeks had all but gone. It was surreal and I actually thought I was dreaming or I'd gone somewhere else I'm still taking the pain killers just in case but I've been relatively pain free since then and I feel fine today though my neck is stiff and it hurts to turn my head. I can only think that something has moved in my back but jeez it's unbelievable I'm off to see the doc this afternoon to find out what's going on and I'm going to see a young lady tomorrow about Pilates classes. I'm not going to do anything about my spinal op just yet because I don't know if my condition will return. I've not got any pins and needles in my foot either though it's still numb and movement is still restricted but I'm not complaining. I can walk fine without my crutches so I'm going to try and go on foot to see the quack Happy days

    Blimey Si, that's fantastic news!

'I'm not going to do anything about my spinal op just yet because I don't know if my condition will return.'

Does that mean you are still going ahead or not bothering?

Thanks guys. I'm going to see how things go on. I haven't had a date for the op so I'm going leave things as they are for the moment. If the condition returns I need to have that option. I won't have the op if I don't need it though.
