    Haha yes Gary. I've been there all day today building another Lenco. The walk there and back does me good but I'm absolutely buggered by the time I get home. My new knee, the left one is doing ok but the other is giving me some real grief atm so the sooner it gets it the better and yes I've received confirmation so next Tuesday it is
    Hey no worries Andy, leave it for now mate. I'll give you a shout when I'm mobile again.

    Cheers Gary. Tbh I was more interested in getting out of the place than jollying it up with the nurses. No male nurses on the ward last time I was there Eddie. I used to pretend I was asleep or hobble to the bogs when the two old dragons from physio came round

    Thanks Paul. Well it's all done and I'm feeling pretty sore. I had a few big blisters around the wound area so I've just had my dressings changed. I should be out for the weekend if it all goes to plan.

    Hi ESK, I can't take a photo until they take the dressing off again. I did take take a pic of the wound when I had the other knee done. It's on here somewhere.

    Well chaps I'm home I feel much better this time than I did after I had the left knee done though the new knee doesn't feel as stable as the other one did. I'll work on that once the swelling has gone down and I've had the staples out. Anyway I'm not used to these late nights so I'm off for a kip

    (magnetic indeed, maybe my personality )

    Well I'm up and about, just. Thigh muscles are really sore today but I'm hoping a little exercise will help. Here's a couple of pics for the gory ones amongst you;

    The bruising has actually gone down quite a bit in this pic believe it or not;

    This is bruising left after having anti coagulant injections. I've only five left to do thank God;

    And here's the incision one week on. The area around it blistered quite badly and it stung like f--k when they put the iodine dressings on

    Hospital tomorrow for a check over and the staples are out next Tuesday

    Aye Fragmin Paul. The bruised areas are where the nurses injected me. I've had no such thing with those I administered myself.

    Could you specify the type of caps you had? NOS Russian...?

    What's the Fragmin for? I would have thought you'd want the blood platelets to go into overdrive to heal the cut.

    you can get bruising with it, does the hospital know you've had bruising with it? if not perhaps you should mention it, just to be on the safe side.

    It's to prevent clots post op Gary, so they don't get into the bloodstream and cause a blockage. After an op the body produces a lot of 'coagulant', to repair the injury, into the blood.
