No they're 180. I must have been thinking of the Classic Records 200g pressings.

Great service from Real World Records. I've received a no quibble replacement of PG1 and PG3 and got lower numbers too. For PG1 I now have 000539 instead of 000914, and for PG3 it's 000293 instead of 009220, and no warps! Delighted.

I received mine yesterday. Haven't opened them yet. Maybe i should just leave the cellophane on ala Keith.

Well just spun Solisbury Hill. Sound quality is good. There is a slight warp on PG1 but nothing to get upset about. Haven't tried the others yet.

Now Spinning PG-3. This was always a good sounding album but the new one has gone up a notch. Vocals are very good and there's more definition overall.

I've been spoilt with having the classic records pressing of that album plus the 45 rpm 4 LP box set they did. I had all of those and would be sitting on about 2k's worth if i hadn't sold them.

Just spinning PG-4. I've got no reference on vinyl to compare this to as i didn't have it before. Sounds very good.

I still have most if not all of the Classic 200g lp's.....I did note that Realworld sold the last of them off including the doubles at around 17 odd a few years back. Pity I missed most of that. I just sold my last spare copy of PG plays live a couple of weeks back....one of my faves.

Gotta dismantle the hifi again this weekend as I have to paint over the complete disaster that my wallpaper in the lounge turned out to be.

So (no pun intended), these are well worth it then?

I see "So" is due for release soon on this format, with the CD tracklisting instead of that of the hitherto single-LP version.

    Just an update on this.

These half-speed masters are now being released on single 33⅓ LPs at significantly reduced prices.

That is to say all except Us and Up which will be double 33⅓ LPs.

    So
will be a single LP, with the extra song This Is The Picture (Excellent Birds) on it and In Your Eyes
the last song on the LP.

HMV in Glasgow this morning had all of them in stock.

Single lp's 12.99 so its a no brainer if you don't have these.

Having the 45 rpm remasters kind of makes up for selling the box sets I had. Still regret selling them.
