    Default Squeezebox woes, kind of

Well, not really the Squeezebox as such.

Updated my phone to Android Lollipop. Now the Squeezebox app is borked.

that means I have to get off my butt and find the remote.

It's bad enough when each new version of Ubuntu borks the logitechmediaserver.

its a bummer because virtually all my listening is on my second system, or my phone with headphones these days. And the music player app playlists aren't working since updating to Lollipop either.

I may even have to play a record at this rate

I see what you did there....

I've found a workaround for the playlists on my music app on my phone.

But the Squeezbox app is still not working. I can use a browser and point it to the web server to control it but it's quite clunky on the phone.

When you go Open Source it is quite normal for the fixes to come after the major software releases. With the proprietary OS's some effort is made to provide fixes before or very quickly after these releases. My only non windows devices are a Blackberry (useless because of their security features) and an iPad which I now swear by. I have been eligible for a new phone for 6 months and I don't fancy an Android device again (S3 was a huge disappointment). It is a toss up between Windows and iPhone.

I wish I could go over to iOS but there's a number of apps that I have that simply aren't available on apple.

it's also introduced a new bug in my Gear smartwatch, when I go out of range it doesn't reconnect the bluetooth automatically any more. I'm hoping that they roll out 5.0.1 soon...

My wife's Gear S doesn't reconnect either since Lollipop arrived on her S5.
I have a Rock and I'm not afraid to use it.
