    Default Favourite greatest hits album

What's your favourite Greatest Hits album? Some studios release several for one band over time so it makes it difficult to figure out which is the better investment.

Not sure what mine is, I'll have a think.

Steely Dan. Great tunes and a damn fine recording.
20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon

Two cover designs? A difficult band to do a greatest hits of and not just because most tracks are long. I'll have to play White Eagle again, I love the way it builds.

    That cover is the re-issue.

true but that's why I think DS was such a killer best of as they seemed to really capture the band.

Seriously though, This has to be a contender for me. It's got remixed and different versions of pretty much all the tracks - Including de-edited (rather than extended) versions of some tracks.

and this is a great one too.

    All his most accessible stuff.

Did you have the pin-up poster calendar?

That track listing could be a recipe for life. 'Feels like I'm in love', followed by 'Don't stand so close to me'.
