there don't seem to be as much 'Willie-Waving' on this site as on others about one's system ? are we weird buggers who concentrate on the music instead of the equipment ??

I think it's the other way around. They are the weird ones.

I'm currently listening to an MP3 conversion of Love Over Gold through my DAC. Sounds fine to me. My system hasn't changed in nearly 8 years apart from a new cartridge and a cheap DAC. If i kept telling you about my system you would be bored by now. Enjoy the music.

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon

Yes but technically that's a necessity as tubes tend to blow.

it's nice to get replies to a thread , i used to post on other sites and not a reply , so it is refreshing to get some feedback .another reason i stopped posting on AOS is because i was accused of being somebody else (i think the person had the cheek to question somebody and because he lived about 10 miles from me , i got the blame) anyway , the TCN site seems more laid back and a lot more friendly

Put some music on; pour a beverage and if you've got something to say or share, do it.

That's pretty much what we are about here.

No but seriously (folks) is that the Genesis Revisted II or the original? I'm thinking it's II because that comes in a nice box.
