Cheers everyone, hope Santa was good to you, I got smelly stuff (i like smelly stuff so great pressie) a jacket, a cheap GoPro clone to try out on the bike, a new granite mortar and pestle, some dosh, some booze, and Sophie bought me two tickets to see Michael Kiwanuka in May at the ABC Glasgow, real chuffed.

Well I was all prepared to welcome 10 for Christmas Day. Except that late on Christmas Eve I came down with a bought of norovirus. Firing out of both ends, passed out and woke up when my head hit the floor.

Poor Jenny had to call around early on Christmas Day to warn everyone to stay away.

This morning I feel dreadful but at least no longer feel as though death is stalking me.

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon

Hope you recover soon, not nice at all. I have a recurring mouth ulcer condition (Recurrent Apthous Stomatitis) and was hoping to be pain free over Xmas but no such luck. I have one on/in the corner of my mouth which stretches every time I talk or eat so eating is a very painful ordeal.
