    Default dead marantz

I bought a Marantz pm55 (second hand) about two years ago and had good service from it.last week I noticed all the power and input lights had gone out and the next day the unit wouldn't switch on at all.usually on switch on there is a few seconds delay before there is a click and the amp is ready for use but now no click.any one have any idea what the problem may be.

Difficult to diagnose from that information but it sounds like the power supply or protection circuit has died.

Looking at photos of the internals it should be fairly easy to fix.

there is a internal power supply FUSE
