Merry Christmas to all at TXN.
Do to others as you would have them do to you. (Luke 6:31)

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (Matthew 4:17)

Is it the same seven in disguise and after another nice meal?

Nope. My lot today and Jenny's lot tomorrow. They're a bit like oil and water. They don't mix well.

Second year in a row for me avoiding Christmas in the UK and I love it. Just back from Krakow where I'd taken my mother (who shares my distaste for the whole palaver) for a few days. Minor panic when I realised the Krakovians are very much into Christmas eve and nearly everything in the City closes up around 4pm. Even the restaurant in our Hotel and reception were gone in a flash and I had visions of us sitting over a tea light and a bag of crisps. Luckily a few places down little side streets were serving food and we managed an excellent meal in a Sushi Bar.

All back to normal service on Christmas Day and the streets were full of locals and tourists alike just walking about and enjoying the street food and general peaceful atmosphere. I couldn't get over the number of families with kids just strolling about with not even the vaguest hint of a Crimbo huff lol.

Our evening meal on the 25th was in Klezmer Hois in the Jewish quarter of the city....robust plain food in a crazy old antique place complete with Klezmer band as we ate.....tremendous fun.

No I'm home and get to chill out with my finally complete new TT setup.

Salutations chums....may your Christmas, yuletide, saturnalian excess be everything it should be to you and yours whatever your festive inclination.
